Due to missing out on this one at the last minute last year due to iRacing's server issues I'm super keen to run this one.

We'll run the GTE Porsche as it's a lot stabler around here than the GT3's.

Since the session starts at 10am the later stints will run into the night which means it will be tough going on the end of 12 hours into the night. The realistic time for end is 10:45pm after including the warmup / qually. Hopefully by then we'll be able to do laps with our eyes closed.

Pit strats - I'd look to run 2 maybe 3 stints on tyres unless fuel / tyres are serviced at the same time (99% sure they don't). Over the course of a few endurance races now I can confirm the tyres usually last longer than 1 stint and we would lose time changing them every stop. It's not a huge change to the cars handling running on 2nd stint tyres. If we're doing a driver change however it would be wise to change the tyres every time so the new driver has fresh tyres to get comfortable with.

Practise session Wednesday night anyone? Probably around 8:30pm AEDT.

Ill get onto the setup soon. Tricky track to develop for with the bumps pretty much everwhere, off camber corners, slow and fast too...

Cool. Gotta make amends for my disaster at Bathurst. But at least we lasted longer than verstappen and co!

Baseline setup seems like it is in the ballpark after 1-2 laps.

Let me know what you guys think.

Seems to feel pretty good. Feels really good under brakes into all corners.

The drive out of the corner is my worry. Noticeable understeer coming out onto the back straight and out of the first and last corners.

However *stability* is good on the baseline. I think it will be a good fall back option if we can't agree or if there is no other setup to choose from. :)

Hitting 1:59's with the baseline on a full tank after only 10 laps. I'm not sure where this pace would be in relation to others. Did these times in the morning on default dynamic weather.

May be around 1:57's as race pace around here according to these results from earlier this season. Quite a bit of work to do;

Probably a few things to tune to get more drive out (in no order), I will try over the next few nights:

Slow the front Rebound setting, Slow the rear bump setting - Slowing the rate of weight transfer, so that there is more weight at the front when turning

decrease front height, Increase rear height, - Have more weight at front which will make the car more agile at the rear

Click up on rear ARB

Maybe more negative front camber

Had a bit of time on Sebring tonight ~10-15 laps. Got down to a 2:00 then 1:59 with a slight change (F/R dampers, rear ARB up a few clicks, increase rear height) in setup to get better change of direction on approach to apex and also exit.

Its not a massive change but enough to make a little difference i think. The baseline is stable/predictable, maybe too much understeer as Velo said.

Be good to get some feedback so I know whether this setup is going the right direction.

Going to try and get some laps in tonight and probably Thurs. Did a fair bit of practice in the formula 3's when Sebring was in the rotation.

Has it been 3 weeks already..? This snuck up on me.

Mesa / Tran what are your availabilities for this race? I know we're pretty ill-prepped but I think we're a chance to finish the race with a clean car. Sebring is a big track with a fair bit of runoff. I know the track like the back of my hand.
