Back to Pits
Back to Pits (BTP) is permitted in the practice sessions and in qualifying. BTP is not permitted during the race. If you BTP you cannot rejoin the race and your race is over.

Not Classified
Drivers must complete 90% race distance to be classified as a finisher for the sake of starting position of race 2. All drivers not classified at the end of race 1 are required to start race 2 from the rear of the grid, behind the race 1 winner. In the event of multiple NC drivers, the earliest driver to NC starts from the rear of the grid and so on.

You must finish 90% of timed races to be classified finisher. i.e. If the races finishes and your total race time is less than 90% of the time allocated to the timed race (typically 30 minutes, so 27 minutes).

In the event of race length determined by laps, you must complete the integer portion of 90% of the full race distance. For example if a race is 17 laps in length, the 90% mark is 15.3. You must complete at least 15 laps to be considered a finisher.

Noted, I'll be there then to take care of things.

Finally Monza....that track everyone loves to hate, except me.

Clarification on the speed for the formation lap.

I was doing around 160kph early on, was requested to slow up so slowed to 120kph. and was later on said we're going a bit slow.

Is there a max speed we can nominate (this is car depending TBH), then we all know the speed the leader is at, so we all know what speed to maintain to avoid crashing into the car in front of getting rear ending from the guy behind, as much as possible anyway, but will help.

Thanks.

150kph or there abouts is usually fine. It's a bit track dependant too.
TBH when whoever called out to slow down we were barely 1/3 through the formation lap. Could've easily been ignored, they'd have sorted themselves out in good time anyway.

There was a request to slow down I think because the guys forming at the back had a bit of a gap, but that might have been my fault as I thought Silicnt was supposed to be up front.

Stats are entered, but does anyone want to post up some screenshots to use for the banner?

S12 Livery Pack v2

Livery pack has been updated!

- All liveries are now 2K res size
- Merc and McLaren liveries now have all Ferrari logos properly removed
- Car preview images are all standardized
- Team Renault skin added
- Team Red Bull skins added

DOWNLOAD HERE

Many thanks to Millen for the effort in doing all that.

When installing v2, if you previously installed v1 click YES to replace each skin please to make sure all skins get replaced with the latest. Pretty sure all original ASR skins have had alterations, so best to replace each one.

I've improved the installer a touch too.

After feedback from v1 (well, hearing that some seemed to think the directory shown in installer was their actual AC install folder, it wasn't, just a placeholder I put there that should be right if you default install Steam and AC), I've defaulted the install dir to just C:\, this should force everyone to pick the correct AC install dir rather than assume it auto finds it for you (it doesn't. Maybe next seasons installer I'll attempt that trick).

I've also figured out how to get better compression. v1 installer was 24MB. v2 installer even with 3 more new skins inside is now just 10.7MB! (228MB once installed)

Kikz/Lambo/ASR server gods, please update server to accept new skins.
Kikz, please update livery link in race posts to the above. Old link is now invalid.

v2 livery pack installed on server and OP updated. Please download and update client copies.

testing the reverse grid feature now...

I reckon it'll mean no break time between races except for the normal wait time (as per race 1). I don't really think this is acceptable - as it takes longer than that to run to the potty and back. We'll see what happens for this round and how it works. Simple solution is to restart the session when everyone is back.

I just tested how the 2nd race works. I got kicked out at the end of race 1 and rejoined. It said it was in race 2 and the light sequence was already doing it's thing. I got a penalty for failing to make the grid.

There was only me and another car (who bailed a couple of laps before the end), so I don't know if that makes a difference...

I'm not going to enable reverse grid feature for this race.

--- I'll be around to run and run in this race.
