"I love Malaysia, and it loves me. I have no race report, other than started last, passed everyone on the first corner and passed time thereafter waving to my post-race girls."

"Heh. It's more fear of your... enthused commitment, kikz."

"Race Report. Nice clean start, then I won. The end."

"Props to fredz and sora for showing their sponsors real value."

"You'll always not ever not be not last, in my book, fredz."

"I predict you'll be playing a key role tonight at Singapore, fred my man."

"You're my Alonso, Lambo."

"Just wanted to draw attention to the fact that there's a reigning world champion without a team mate for next season. And I'm all about the hookers and coke."

"Nup. I'm a lean mean Formula 1 computer game fighting machine."

"Ringadingdong - line me up, point me at turn one and I'm in!"

OMG Pessie, I just rewatched and laughed myself into a coma.

You got a penalty for Fredz being sideways across the track at Casino, sliding into him with slicks on, then AGAIN when he reamed you while you are trying to get into the pits!

Worst luck in the history of racing.

I must say though, MAD props for making the chicane at the tunnel exit. That was epic, epic control.

Here's another one.

Starting 7th, made it to the lead by the end of the first lap, mostly through avoiding the carnage around me, including GOING 4-WIDE out of the last corner onto the pit straight.

Out-classed by millen in the end, could only manage 2nd after passing Jase on the second-last lap, but one of my favourite races.

Weirdly, I just watched that Spain race last week!... :? Was going through my media drive and found all my Season 3 to 5 race recordings... watched a few, but watched pretty much all of that race. I enjoyed winning that one. :D

 at how we used to use T-Cam. :D noobs.

Would be great if all the chaps we've lost along the way would one day find their way back.
10th birthday reunion race?

I'd be up for that. Haven't turned a wheel in a while. Bit of cat n mouse in there as well?

Miss you too Millen ;) . Just remembered that time at Abu Dhabi where you summoned the safety car by destroying your car on one of those orange destructible bollards, dnf'ing yourself and completely fucking everyone else's pit strategies. One of the best races for me ever. Went from 8th to 3rd on the final laps as everyone's tyres just died.

You Guys. Simple as that.

------

But a few that springs to mind.

SoJ I believe it was at Hungary, felt he should of been penalized for something he did (may have been an accident with another driver) but the game didn't give him one, but decided to give himself a penalty and slowed right up and let the entire field (except ME) by.

The mini series we ran with GSCE (I can't remember the car we used other than it being an open wheeler) but with the Winton track mod, my home track, having taken my car there a few times. Copped a speeding in pit lane penalty, slowed too much and speed back up but didn't slow enough again before the line. Was in 3rd place and proceed to have an epic battle with Ploddy for a LONG TIME, just never had the pace where I needed it to make a move. and by this stage we were all so seasoned, pressure just doesn't work, but I sure as hell still tired!

This, probably my best overall performance at ASR before or since:

GSCE again; Super Karts around Bathurst! that was great fun, for the first and only time ever, felt what it would be like to be on edge across the top.

Teaming up with Toggsie in Season 5 of GP2, were we had team radio and I was "coaching" him to try and get his first win, sadly it never happened, but he sure and hell came close a few times. He was a better driver with me that he ever was with SoJ. :?

meeting millen and catching up with rogue, what back when.

ASR meet in Melb where kikz and Ploddy flew down for it! That was a great day. (who won at Go-Karts of the ASR guys again?!?!)

GP2 taught me A LOT, had never gamed online before, always just 1 player stuff on the Play Station on a hand controller with GranTourismo, only got the G27 on PS3 when the F1 2010 game was released. But again, all on my own. But EVERYONE in GP2 was always there to help to teach and guide, they all wanted me to be better (boy was i SHOCKINGLY bad the first race/season even) Set up, driving style, what to aim/practice for. Just fun times.

Fredz "music" sound track.

Fredz version of "Kimi's" Christmas Message

Nobody every making Nobody jokes. (lol, still hasn't gotten old)

OK, so maybe more than a few.

Ha, I was just skimming through the old GP2 season 2 thread and saw that GP2 legend SoJ was referred to the league by Night-cheater.

I feel so young reading this. But those are amazing memories you guys have and make my day better (that RAM video Plods, holy fuck that is funny as shit). It's why I enjoy being here, special memories you all make. The only 4 I have are:

- Testing F1 2016 MP with Tran and Modzy using a controller (brief Erad moment ;) ) and getting a feel for what league racing is like (Friday Night Practice, good feelings)
- Driving at Imola in the Lotus T125 (AC Season 11) and watching Kikz cut every chicane while behind me in race 2
- Not being last and ahead of Erads in Qualy at Silverstone (also the banter, enjoyable) :D
- Funsies with Cam and Kikz driving the Formula Rookie at Willow Springs (and having my wheel not get picked up twice)

I should do race reports more often tbh, died off recently cause I can't make races. Would be nice addition dusts off pen and paper

Having recently dived into F1 2010 and 2011 (cause I'm doing a F1 2010-201whatever mega series, will explain another time), I find that system the most annoying half-baked idea ever. Not that I ever do online races, but it makes life harder than Steam.

I've only been here 2 years of the 8, but it's been 2 great years around a great bunch of blokes who enjoy sim racing and motorsport as much as I do. And taught me many things that I'll remember forever. Here's to more great memories being made and another 8 years of Atomic Sim Racing raises glass

Edit: Btw is it possible to have my forum name changed to just "Woody"? Realised how weird the current one sounds and you just know me as Woody. If not, all good.

I remember Erads at Monaco hairpin. Bloody hilarious!

Petevo, that was the Formula 3 in GSCE. We did a mini season. Great fun.

Poor Mac dude. Lacked the pace something horribly.

I don't know if they ever fixed it, but I told them their speed to full lock curve was out of whack for just that car.
It was a bug for controllers, promise! :P

It should be possible. I had mine altered early on after signing up with my AtomicMPC alias initially.
Lambo is your man.

Happy Birthday ASR. The memories.

Yes Nightkid invited me after a random online game, the first time I ever had played anything online, and it led to the best ever online experience I've ever had with a top bunch of lads. It's a shame that most online games I play now are so toxic. I don't think I realised how good it was. I can't wait to get back to racing one day.

Personnel highlights:

1.(That Helmet) and a flat out race with Oz from lap 10, but mental last 5 laps. https://youtu.be/St1y5NFGet4?t=2260

2.The "Nice one dickhead" incident. (video footage deleted from the history books)

3.Pretty much every championship battle with Ploddy.

4. Plods ram and the following video. So funny.

5. Pessi monaco wet tyres on a dry track.

6. Fredz - everything he did ever, in every race.

7. Always thinking Greg drove with a monocle and top hat, gentleman racer.

8. Every alias from silly season.

9. Birth of Plods ;) Austin GP can't remember which season, when Plods got fast. Me and Plods out qualified the GP1 boys in time and remember telling Toggs during the race over team chat "Mate, he's too fast I can't catch him."

10. And many more

Happy Birthday again ASR.

Edit: I have got no work done this morning looking back through this.

Look at this little virgin. https://forums.atomicmpc.com.au/topic/5 ... -2/?page=6

A year before my daughter, now she's 5!

I remember this like it was yesterday.

This was in the heat of our title battle. Don't know if you remember, but I put in 20 hours practice that week, just so I could be a bee's dick faster than you. That's what it took to beat you ;)

Good times.

Nothing planned immediately mate, but will see how the next few months pan out, had a rough year to be honest and moreover racing with a controller.........we'll it's not cool man. Still have my wheel just no space or time.

I'm thinking Iracing is what I'll head back too, are you guys still going in that? really enjoyed booking races when I had time. Committing to a day would prove difficult.

Logged into my photo bucket account for the first time in forever. Found so many silly season pictures.

Some funny stories in there and some I can't remember or know why the f&^k they are there. Adrian Sutil with a dolphin??? How we loved Claire,
