"Dropped it to 1st gear on turn 1 and possibly went sideways for a moment, sorry if that mucked you up Mark. Then built a good distance on Lambo til I went into the sand and lost a heap of time, he was up behind me with a speed advantage so I let him through without challenge, figuring I'd catch and pass soon enough as I was faster.
Pitstop was interesting, we pitted together, Lambo ahead, but I came out first. No idea how, assume Lambo didn't overshoot. I did put on a whack of speed entering the pits, braking hard to 100 just on the speed limit line, but that just brought me closer, not ahead. Anyway, that was that, took off and drove without further incident to score.

"Turn 1 I was overtaken by Mark, but I breaked quite early and had a good run out of 1. Ben had gone of the track, overshooting turn one. Mark was making a clean pass but Ben you joined the track imediately and hit Mark, then as I went far right to avoid both, you somehow did the same and pushed me off the track onto the grass on the right. I was able to hold it tho, and resume in 2nd. I followed you around a few laps, and was able to overtake when you spun on the same first corner. I pitted on lap 9 which you did as well but I was infront, and for what ever BS reason, I come out 2nd. Then into the tight chicane at 6 & 7 for what ever unknown reason, I get a puncture. Never seen it before. Had to limp around and pit again for new set of tires. From there it was a case of chasing down mark. With about 3 laps I caught up and was able to pass." - Atomic Lambo - Force India
"Interestingly, I got 3rd for some time before mark84 and Ghost got their act together. I couldn't get the lap to link together to be decent. I was about to hit 1'24 on one of my laps before I broke my wing badly and so suffered. Initially, I saw the wet weather possibility but after some reasoning, I decided to keep the dry settings. The start was interesting as fredz was faster than I thought. He was a rocket from the get go. At the first corner I was faced with a big problem when mark spun round. I had some slip in the traction and I faced a possibility I would pull a Liuzzi/Schumacher sandwich on mark. But the traction kicked in just at the right time and I avoided him. I lost 4th a few laps after that to mark but I was catching up pretty well. He pitted in at 17/18 so I decided to keep going to build a lead. However I pitted in too early. In hindsight, I could have gone another 2 laps before I pitted in which would have been better." - roxas3sora3 - Virgin
"Was heading for a 1st/2nd position exit at turn 1, avoided everyone and thought I was ok, but got some lovin' from the rear from someone, to give me yet another spin on the 1st corner on a race start. From back of the pack, took sora and fredz ok, got in front of Lambo for 3rd some how. Had a decent lead on him but it was just a fact of time, 15 laps is far too long for me to not make a mistake in. 2 offs later and holding a raging lambo back for 2 laps I relinquished 3rd." - Eradicator - McLaren
