Driver Quotes

"Istanbul was given to Lotus by in-fighting on Force India's team. (I think they hate each other secretly...who is number 1 and number 2 driver?). Second lap I think, they were 1st and 2nd position, they came to blows on a tight hairpin-like corner, I just missed lambo as he was hit from behind and spun by Flouncy who also spun I think." - Ghost - Lotus

"I've done quite a bit of laps on this one so was confident of putting it up near the front. Eradicator had done a good Istanbul lap in time trial so I used that as my benchmark and practice. Very technical track with a great back section of near full throttle. If you have confidence in your grip levels and your entry is right it's very satisfying. Qualifying was great, stuck it on pole, by 3/10's. I was surprised to see Eradicator qualify in 4th considering his great time trial lap. Race was not the best, I'll admit my first lap wasn't the quickest as I got the tires up to temperature and just made sure to keep out of trouble. Ben must have got a good toe down the back straight as he tried to stick it up the inside. Unfortunately as I turned in contact was made and we both spun. Relegating us to the back of the field. Luckly no wing damage or tire damage so was able to put in some very quick laps and get back into contention pitting a lap later than usual to get in front of the trafic, but not enough to get back in the lead. On the second last lap Ben was again very close to me, but I made a mistake on the last corner dropping to quickly the gears, from there I was literraly on the gearbox of Ben for a full lap till the last set of corners when he either braked to late, or his tires had had it and I was able to safely slip up the inside. 2-3 finish for Force India, but rueing the lost opportunities." - Atomic Lambo - Force India
